Zee TV’s Maharakshak Aaryan, the tale of the super-hero, produced by Esselvision Productions got appreciated by masses, especially the youth for its gripping storyline and visual effects. The first series of the trilogy, saw many popular names starting from Mishal Raheja, Reshmi Ghosh,Tarun Khanna, Aparna Kumar, Meghna Naidu, Thakur Anoop Singh, Rajesh Khera, Liliput, Dimple Jhangiani, Rucha Gujarati, and of course Vikramjeet Virk entertaining one and all in their deadly avatars.

Now, it is time to bid adieu to Aaryan (Aakarshan Singh), and welcome the next super hero of the series.

Yes, the first series of the trilogy titled ‘Aryan’ will end this weekend. And the show will see a seasonal break for a month or so.

A reliable source states, “In March, the second series of the trilogy will be launched, and this time it will be a female super hero showcasing her immense powers and waging her battle against the evil powers. The series as present holds the tentative title of ‘Devi’.”

We hear that the casting process for Devi is presently on.

However, insiders reveal to us that Shakti Mohan, the dancing sensation who came to the limelight with Dance India Dance and later went on to gain huge popularity with her Channel V show, Dil Dostii Dance is presently in talking terms for the title role of the super hero. She was also at her dancing best in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Our source confides, “Shakti is presently in talks, but nothing is finalized as of now. The monetary part needs to be sorted out.”

We hear that Nilanjana Purkayasstha, who has earlier produced Chandragupta Maurya has joined the team of Devi as the Show Creator, and will closely work with Esselvision on this series.

We dropped a text message to Shakti, but she did not respond.

Our efforts to reach to Nitin Keni, COO, Esselvision proved futile.

As for the ongoing series Aaryan, the culmination of it will happen after Aaryan (Aakarshan Singh) and his army will get into a major war with the super villain Triloki (Vikramjeet Virk) and his men. Ultimately, Aaryan will win over the evil, thus ending the first series tale.

We will keep you updated on further developments here.
